Neville Gaunt, CEO of Mind Fit Ltd said “Mind Fit is all about improving performance and that’s in business and in life. For many people sport plays a large part of their life and we’re delighted that Tony has joined us to start our sporting journey. Where better to start than golf, a traditional place for business people to have fun and do business. Through simple warm-up drills and the Mind Fit process and Map, golfers will sustainably improve their game. But it doesn’t stop there as by adopting similar processes golfers will get improvement in their life and workplace. You will soon be able to say that PGA coaches will be improving local communities, as anyone taking lessons will develop skills to be the best they can be in golf but also in business, school and life.”
The game of golf is summed up in the words of Jack Nicklaus, who said “Success depends almost entirely on how effectively you learn to manage the game’s two ultimate adversaries: the course and yourself.”
Tony Westwood said, “Mind Fit Golf will help you with managing yourself, starting with your mindset. My own work for the last 30 years as a golf coach has helped me create a very simple process that allows the individual to understand what happens after every shot and adjust where necessary. What I hadn’t realised at the time is that it meant the golfer was creating a ‘Can Do’ mindset. Whether you are improving your performance on the golf course or in business we believe creating a ‘Can Do’ mindset is essential for success. The creation of can do people in every part of the organisation, means that the subsequent benefits and success for both the individual and company, is simply astonishing. I am very pleased to be given the chance to play a part in Mind Fit’s journey and leading the next golfing revolution – where mindset is a pre-requisite for walking on and off the golf course.”
